Director of The Turing Trust
James is the Leverhulme Perfect Storm Doctoral Scholar at University of Edinburgh and has worked in the charity sector for six years working with large charities such as Marie Curie in Scotland and in building small NGOs in Ghana. He is now the Director of the Turing Trust where he is working on expanding Turing Trusts reach into new areas of Africa. The Turing Trust was set up in 2009 by Alan Turing’s closest family, including his great nephew James Turing, in honour of his remarkable legacy. Today, they keep Alan’s legacy alive by providing quality technology and IT training to schools in sub-Saharan Africa.
